About Me

GuitarheroAndy
A member of East Anglian Historical Gamers, I've been wargaming for over 40 years in one capacity or another, although I started playing seriously (if that's the right word) when the first boxed version of Warhammer fantasy came out in the early 1990's.Now, I play mainly Dux Britanniarum, The Men Who Would Be Kings, Sharp Practice and Conitatus. My real strength remains my ability with a paintbrush although I am a better general than I used to be and my eyes are slightly giving up the ghost! I find all aspects of the hobby a great relaxation as well. Personally speaking, I live alone having moved home to Suffolk in 2023, although my son occasionally visits. I now work at Sutton Hoo, one of the greatest archaeological sites in the UK if not the world - the perfect job for a history geek like me!
